One Nation Under God
This powerful program not only aims to increase appreciation of our rich religious heritage, but also seeks to remind Americans that we must always trust in a higher power for guidance, protection and strength. One Nation Under God Month is usually observed annually during November. It aims to increase awareness and appreciation of our nation's religious heritage and to strengthen the concepts of individual moral responsibility and dependence on God - shared by Christians and Jews, as well as other religious persuasions.
This year's program's guest speaker was Col. David O. Golden, USA (Ret). Col. Golden is currently Chaplain to the Corps of Cadets and Director of Religious Activities at The Citadel. He gave his remarks about the history of our nation's religious heritage.

Club member Carroll LeTellier thanks Col. Golden for participating in this year's program.
